In the field of the Milipol 2019, that will be held from 19 to 22 November 2019 in Paris (France), The Security Research NCP Network (SEREN4) organizes Milipol practitioner workshops dedicated to the 2020 topics in Horizon2020 that are related to the impact of Artificial Intelligence in law enforcement.
The workshops, organized with the support of the European Commission, will take place on Wednesday 20 November, at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre – Halls 4 & 5a. The events are dedicated to practitioners who are interested in the uptake of security research and innovation.

A call for project proposals on security research across 16 different topics is open until 22 August 2019. It makes available €233.36 million in total for projects working on protecting the infrastructure of Europe, increasing the disaster resilience of societies, fighting crime and terrorism, securing external borders, as well as improving digital security and data protection.
The proposals that have passed the evaluation will be known by mid-January 2020, and the grant agreements with the project teams should be signed by end of April 2020.
